This year has been really exciting for Mogo – maybe the most exciting one ever. We aren’t exaggerating. Not even a little bit. That’s why we are calling 2015 “The Year of Mogo.”
First, we started the year off right, having met just about all our goals from 2014.
We added more great people to the team, we expanded our offices (called “Mogo South”) and hosted our 15th anniversary celebration with our friends, families, and clients. We launched two new websites. We changed our name from Mogo Marketing and Media to Mogo Interactive. We produced and attended our first employee off-site training day, where we got to dive deeply into what we do best – providing top-notch digital marketing strategies, services, and technologies to clients. Then we went bowling.
While we can’t list everything awesome about Mogo in 2015, of all the exciting things that have been happening around Mogo this year, two things, in particular, have made us really proud!
In September, we received the Inc 5000 award, which recognizes 5,000 companies who have achieved outstanding growth in the last three years. To be eligible for the Inc. 5000 award, private, independent companies must have generated some revenue by March 31, 2011, at least $100,000 in revenue in 2011, and $2 million in 2014. Coming in at #1708 was a huge honor for us.
Finally, last month, we were ranked by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the 100 fastest growing private companies in the Bay Area (#88). This year marks the second year in a row that Mogo has received this award. Like the Inc5000, the Fast 100 award also recognizes rapid three-year growth for private companies.
With the end of the year fast approaching, we look back on 2015 with a sense of pride, and onto 2016 with a sense of excitement, anticipation, and desire to be even better than before – for our partners, clients, and each other.
